Click this link for my video on a black background. I think this is great way to see videos without a lot of STUFF surrounding what you’d like to feature.
Okay, Eazy Draw works for the most part. (I did have one file with a jpeg that didn’t open)
It is a little spendy, the full license is $95 but you can get a 9 month limited license for only $20 (in which time, I can get all my files converted) can be completed as full unlimited forever license for another $75 before Jan. 1, next.
What else: it is a great little drawing program for those of you who don’t feel the need to own Adobe Illustrator. I like the old Clarisworks feel nostalgia, especially for the pattern pallette. So, buy it if you have old Apple files from the 90’s to rescue to Mac OSX 10. Buy it if you just need a good little drawing program for about 1/5 the Adobe price tag.
My beef with our now senior Senator continues.
Previously, I had the opportunity over the 4th of July break ‘08 to try to explain to the senator that he should support the Constitution and not give the big telecoms immunity for doing Dick Cheney’s bidding and spying on Americans EVEN BEFORE 9/11! Which is against the 4th Ammendment, another story for another day. Yet, the man said, “It’s not the telecoms’ fault they were lied to!” Well, YES IT IS, due diligence would be easy, because it is obviously the wrong thing to do! What kind of AMERICANS are these people??
Now, Sen. Carper has joined with some Blue Dogs to ask for paying down of deficits, instead of spending money on stimulus. I am hugely disappointed in this group of ‘Conservadems’ as Rachel Maddow calls them, because they are spouting Republican talking points.
MADDOW: The government should go on a diet. The government should tighten its belt just like we did when we made the Great Depression way worse. That spokesman for the utter misunderstanding of basic economics is the top Republican in the House, John Boehner.
What are you thinking as a Democratic senator right now, if you decide with this president, in these times, with these Democratic majorities? Now is the time to form a group of Democratic dissenters who instead of following the president, will follow the leadership of the House Republicans who happen to be the political laughing-stock of the country.
What are these Democratic senators thinking? This is the time, really, to form a “tighten our belt, stop spending” Democratic caucus in the Senate? This is the time when the government desperately needs to spend to stave off a depression?
This is the time now in 2009 and not, say, when George W. Bush turned hundreds of billions of surplus into a trillion dollar deficit and spent $1 trillion on the war on Iraq and enlarged government more than any time since World War II?
You sat on your hands through all of that, but now, you‘re deciding to dissent, now that the Democrats are in the position to fix stuff? Now, you‘re dissenting? Now, you‘re finding your bravery?
Or, another way to look at it (from history), staring down the prospect of the SECOND Republican Depression, this idea of not stimulating the economy with spending that creates JOBS and paying down deficits instead are definitely HOOVER-esque!!!
And they are proven wrong in history and in the calculations of most economists, for instance the Nobel laureate, Dr. Paul Krugman.
Senator Carper or hangers-on, please take another look at these actions you are taking!!
Delaware deserves smarter representation!
Another take I have on this, why these people are forming around each other and away from President Obama’s lead; these ‘Dems’ are really part of the Wealth Party (along with Repubs) and are representing THEIR constituency, BIG MONEY (banks, big pharma, DuPonts & pals).
We voting, working, liberal schlubs had better WAKE the heck UP!!!
Get active and send Senator Carper a serious message!!!!!
Recommended to me by the lovely CLB!
I’ve reworked the band’s website on iWeb and pointed all the domain names to the new Apple pages. I’ve created a podcast page, we have a REAL podcast that you can subscribe to at iTunes and regularly load it onto your computer/ipod/iphone, what have you.
Unique content and MOSTLY ukulele free!! LOL
